Forest Insects and Diseases in Northeast Washington

Diagnosing Your Sick Trees
If you have trees in your forest that are dying or already dead, the following websites and material may help you identify the culprit. Initially you will need to be able to identify the species of tree that is affected, as many forest damaging insects and diseases are specific to particular host trees. You can learn to identify the trees on your property by downloading Trees of Washington or you may contact the WSU Extension office at 509-477-2199 and we'll help you diagnose the problem.
