National 4-H Horse Roundup

In early November, Washington State 4-H Horse Teams participated in the 2007 Eastern National 4-H Horse Roundup in Louisville, Kentucky. These teams qualified at our state contests earlier in the year. Congratulations to these outstanding youth, their parents, coaches, chaperones and volunteers who helped prepare these young people for this trip of a lifetime!
In team competitions, Hippology, Horse Bowl and Horse Judging, youth from Mason, Pierce, Snohomish and Spokane counties represented Washington 4-H. Hearty Congratulations to Spokane County's Horse Bowl team placing 4th in the nation! AND Hearty Congratulations to Washington's State 4-H Horse Judging Team placing 6th in the nation!
In the Public Speaking and Presentations competition, Washington 4-H was represented by youth from Clark, Kittitas and Snohomish counties. Hearty Congratulations to Snohomish County's Team Demonstration placing 4th in the nation!
